Hahaha, I remember walking away from the silent disco aren with @mm_mmmm and the sound of ‘Angels’ being sang out of tune in the background. #timehop (at Leeds Festival)
Hmmmmm

I know this may seem thoughtless, but I have to say there’s something that bugs me when people say ‘thank god’/’thank [insert supernatural force]’ when they or someone has been saved from the brink of death.

I can appreciate the emotion. But why not actually thank the doctors, paramedics and the NHS for being there and doing the saving?

Because I have to say God’s presence was absent when my Grandma had a stroke. He seemed pretty absent when my friends dad died after he had a heart attack.

I just wish people would think before they speak. If God saved someone you loved, then why not everyone else?
